About I Am Better Basketball

I'm a proud African American from the west side of Detroit, shaped by the city’s grit, culture, and community. I played three years of varsity basketball and continued my journey at the junior college level, where I built on my love for the game and learned lessons that went far beyond\ the court.

Today, I’m a father of three beautiful kids — two boys and one girl — who inspire everything I do. For the past 10 years, I’ve dedicated myself to coaching youth basketball, helping young

players grow not just as athletes, but as people. My goal is to one day coach at the college level, where I can continue to impact lives through mentorship, discipline, and the game I love.

Basketball gave me purpose — now I give it back every day!
